Supplier risk notes
The cheapest supplier is not always the best operational choice. Each note cites the conversation or outcome it came from.
| Supplier | Note | Evidence | Effect on ranking | Review |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AgroTrade LLC | Replies vary 2–4 days; two follow-ups needed per RFQ | 3 RFQs · Outreach log | deprioritised for windows under 14 days | confirm |
| Baltic Pack UAB | Unresolved claim: 2 pallets short on ORD-0861, no credit note after 21 days | Outcome · buyer note 20 Oct | excluded until resolved | escalate |
| Nordmühle KG | Fee structure unclear: "handling" added after quote on 2 RFQs | operator call 14 Oct · email | quotes normalised with +6 €/t assumption | confirm |
| GoldenGrain Sp. z o.o. | Freight never stated in first quote | 2 RFQs · parsed quotes | normaliser asks for freight before showing to buyer | handled by agent |
| SunOil Trade | Prior coordination issue: loading date moved twice | Domovo call 28 Oct · Outcome | flag shown to buyer with the quote | confirm |
Recommendation logic
Balance the buyer's price with service reliability and the team's effort. A supplier that consistently creates work is ranked below a slightly dearer one, and the reason is written next to the rank.
- landed price on one basis
- recorded delivery and after-sales outcomes
- response speed and quote completeness
- open claims and coordination issues
Flags are proposals. Internal ranking changes only after a researcher confirms the note.
What never becomes a flag
A single late reply, a price above market, or a tone in an email. Three recorded events of the same kind, or one unresolved claim.
